Challenge: Founded in 2007, Temple View Capital is a private lending firm with a national footprint. The company had largely grown organically through direct sales, but decided that 2020 was going to be a year for big things. With additional investment and capitalization procured, the next step was to grow their brand identity and build new channels to grow their borrowers. And they asked JK Squared to assist with those efforts.
Solution: Navigating through the COVID pandemic and uncertain financial markets, the team focused initially on development of the new brand. We started with the development of a consistent messaging platform, and then built a new brand identity to reflect the vision for the growing company. A new “Torch-mark” logo was designed, positioning Temple View as the guiding light for the future, while the “T/V” from the name was used to demonstrate their stability. We added new sub-brands to reflect the product offerings – Temple View for the B2C audience and TVC Funding for our B2B customers. A new B2C website along with a B2B partner portal was created to help showcase the new brand and the product offerings, on a flexible platform that allowed for easier editing and data collection. The marketing team implemented Pardot, synced with Salesforce, and began the process of actually tracking where leads came from and how they converted. Without live events to generate new leads, new digital marketing programs were built using Google Ads along with paid & organic social media to drive response. We also used the lack of live events to completely overhaul the event experience, creating new backdrops, displays and materials for 2021.
Results: Temple View is now positioned to grow. Their B2C business remained stable in 2020, while new B2B and Realtor channels were launched to find new sources of lenders. The company is well on their way to reach their very aggressive goals for 2020 and beyond.
